I think you can fall out of love.....and there can be alot of different reasons. She does seem to be avoiding you...often people grow apart,,,,the things the 2 of you shared 4 yrs ago might not be what she needs or really wants now. I was married at 24 and crazy inlove with my husband....and I lost that, for a multiple of reasons...and its impossible to get it back once its gone...heaven knows i tried. Talk to her, and tell her how you are feeling, and tell her you would like to know how she is feeling, honesty is the basis of a good strong relationship...and right now, you are lacking that.

It really is hard.
The only cure for what you're going through is time.
You might try finding activities to help you get your mind off your friend, that should make things a little easier.
Just remember you'll find someone and even though right now you feel like you'll never be happy again, you will get over it and you will find someone else to share your love.

She is not into you . Yes it will break your heart. That is life. Grow up. Let this be a lesson to you , women will lure you into their lives then take your money and jab you in the heart much like the Black Widow spider ( except for the money thing which only applies to every human woman). Here Have a Beer.

Stop seeing her and talking to her altogether. Hang out with different friends. I've heard that it takes the same amount of time that you were together to get over someone, and I've seen that to be true. Good luck.

God knows I know this one well. Too well. There isn't any easy way.It may take a lot of years, it did with me. She'll prove herself to be a hussy, not something you want to hear now. But it'll happen. Trust me. I was so in love, I'd have given my nuts. Now she's strapped with two mulotto boys. I told her she should've married me ten years ago. May have well pissed in the wind. Damnit. Forgetaboutit.

you don't just fall out of love. My ex robbed my blind, got hooked on drugs, lied etc. etc. and I still love her. Don't get me wrong I threw her *** out a few years ago and I know even though she got her self together I could never trust her again. All that said....I still love her. I guess I'm not IN LOVE but I do love her

I did the same thing. . it wasn't quite four years, but close. .
turns out it wasn't really love. .
and it might not be in your case. .
it sounds like maybe it's infatuation (you have been admiring her (and dreaming about her) from afar, and never really dated her. .
is that right?. . I did the same thing. .
I'm glad I finally asked her. . and it didn't happen. .
and then I got on with my life. .
