I have tried all three, and now that I am fully informed and educated I steer clear of anything chemical, etc and to have those things shoved up your 'uh.hum' can not be good for you. As the plastics etc the diaphram is made out of, is extremely toxic when put under such high temperatures. I only use the rythmn method, is is chemical free, costs nothing, and causes no side effects. That is, knowing in advance when you are about to menstruate, and staying clear of sex for that period leading up to, during and after the period. This has been very safe and effective for the past three years.

i've tried the pill and that patch. the pill screwed me alll up. I had so many side effects it was ridiculous. The patch has worked for me for 4 years now. The doc thought I would have side effects and it be too strong since that's what happened with the pill. But I went on it anyway, against her suggestion and the only side effect I have is a decrease in the number of migraines I have.
And with insurance mine is $20 a month. $50 for a three month supply by mail order. and i only have to remember to change it once a week.

Theres a patch.. I dont like anything inserted. I didn't like the first birth control they gave me, so i switched to Orthrotrycyclin Lo. I like it alot better.

There's a shot, that you can take ,if you want no notice whatsoever, with some you wont even get your period, and theres no chance of pregnancy

Please do not try the shot! (3 month shot) It has horrible side effects! There's a website (depoproverahorrorstories or something like it) and alot of it's true! I didn't beleive it at first, but when I started getting cyst like pimples and the worst stomach pains ever, I got right off it! I haven't tried what you are asking, but please don't use the shot! (if you thought pills were bad, the shot is worse).

Out of those three I havent tried any, I prefer the pill.
I wouldnt recommend depo provera (shot) to anyone, it screwed up my body so badly, it was horrible.

I personally like the pill the best. I have been and am on Lo-Oval or however you spell it. It has been awesome for me...but everybody is different.

Contraceptive foam
But it is long term relationship type method. I wouldn't try that with a jumpoff.

Couldn't do the Pill, too many side effects for me.
Diaphragm was fine.

My fave though is my husband's vasectomy. lol
