I've heard that the only time in recorded history there was peace was during the time that Jesus was alive on this earth. Otherwise, there has been conflicts of one type or another at least one place in the world. I don't know if this is true or not, but I don't think it will ever be possible to have world peace.

NO. Life is constant conflict.
Sorry if that's depressing.
On the bright side.. if it weren't for conflict people would become extremely apathetic and bored.
