I'd like to start wearing makeup. Never really worn more than lip gloss before. Can anyone give me easy, day makeup how-to?

Curl your eyelashes - it makes you look so much more wide awake. To do that, you'll need an eyelash curler - you can choose one. They're kind of tricky at first, which is why you might need to ask your mom or another girl in your family to show you. Then apply clear mascara - it makes a difference, but it's good for beginners because it doesn't show if you mess up. Maybe try some fun-colored eyeshadows - get some that match your wardrobe. You don't need blush or lipstick - you can wear lip gloss though. Also, if your skin breaks out, you can use some cover-up or concealer. Good luck!

Just for something quick and simple:

Lipgloss: Open your mouth like your shouting and put it on, then purse your lips together. If it's too gooey, just get a napkin and purse your lips together on that. Don't make a kissy face when you put on lip gloss (or at least i don't) it can seperate tones.

Blush: Just a teeny bit of blush. Don't make it really noticable, just let it brighten your skin. Smile, when you apply, so it's easier to find the apples of your cheeks.

Eyeliner: Don't apply if your wearing mascara. Just a thin bit of eyeliner. If you want your eyes to look bigger, use bright colours, for smaller or more serious eyes, use black.

Mascara: Only apply to your top lashes. If your lashes start to stick together or get chunks, use a tooth brush (that you don't use!) to seperate them and make them look good.

Unless you want some HUGE makeup deal (Like for a date) That's all it is. :)

Get the Almay I-Color line. It is coordinated to match your eyes. Depending on your skin tone, make sure your blush and lipstick match. If you are just starting out and want to wear foundation, but don't want a mask-like feel, try a tinted moisturizer like CG Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer by Cover Girl or Loreal True Match.
Another product to try is the Powder Pallete line by Physician's Formula. It is designed for adaption to your skin tone. You can go to any of these company's websites and check out their product line and Cover Girl's website has virtual models so you can test out the makeup online.

I usually just draw with an eyeliner lining the shape of my eyes. Some people just draw a line over their lids. This enhances your eyes by making it look bigger. That's basically all the makeup I wear.

This look takes 2 minutes:
1. Take your concealor and apply it on your flaws (if you have any)
2. Apply some blush on the apples of your cheeks (the fleshiest part of your cheek when smile), forehead, nose and chin.
3. Apply lip gloss

If you have more time then:
1. Apply foundation on face and neck, and blend.
2. Sweep blush along cheekbones and up toward temples.
3. Trace upper lash line with black eyeliner blend up on lid with finger.Apply eyeshadow thats dark, rich and has some shimmer on lid, up to brow line.

4. Apply one coat of mascara (black preferbly) to upper and lower lashes.
5. Line lips with a color close to your natural one; fill in with lipliner. Apply a dot of clear lipgloss to the center of bottom lip.

i like a little eyeliner. make sure you dont use liquid its hard to put on and yuck! i dont like mascara but you can use mascara if you want. you could use a little blush or bronzer but that is an option. i usually dont wear it. and then top it off with a nice lip gloss of your choice!

skip the eyeliner... start with something like a tinted moisturizer and some mascara... work your way up to wearing more... makeup should look natural no matter how much you have on.
