Did you try rubbing fresh cut lemons inside of it?
After rubbing the inside, let it sit for a couple of hours.
What about baking soda? It absorbs odors. Pour some in and let it sit overnight ( at least).

Pour some baking soda and water in the dish that you want to rid the odor from and leave sit over night, tehn wash as normal and the smell should be gone.

take some salt, and dump it really thick onto the bowl, then take a little bit of water (you dont want to disolve the salt just get it a little wet) Then take a lemon and cut it in half. Take and scrub the salt into the dish with the lemon (cut side down) Its reallyg reat for getting out stains and smells in plastics and cutting boards. Try it I think you will be surprised!

Tupperware seems to have pores like skin, first put hot water, very hot and let it stand for awhile opening it up, , then scrub it with a paste of vinegar and baking soda, then wash it with hot soapy water again... this should do it.

Hot water and white distilled vinegar, 1/2 c. vinegar to 1 c. hot water. Let set over night. If odor is still there, then its in the plastic and I would toss it away.

Something tells me tomato sauce will do it, but try vinegar or lemon juice or baking soda too.
maybe fill it with water and put a stainless steel knife in there? it works for hands... I think.
You can always pop down to a thrift store and grab another.

try baking soda, or vinegar and if that doesn't work, then maybe you should throw away the tupperware container and get a new one?
