So my friend and i are best buds but his future is set by his parents and i dont know if i want to go to a public school with him or a privite school alone.

Private school would be better for you in some area's, Public school has it advantages also. If your truly GREAT friends, then what school you go to won't matter. I would talk to him about it, he might be able to go to private school also.
You never know until you talk about and com-front it.

Take your friend out of the equation for a minute. Then which would you rather attend, public or private school. This decision should be made for you alone, not to please your friend.
If you two don't end up going to school together, you can still see your best friend - just make the effort to hang out with each other.

Make mature decisions on your life. Don't base it on anyone else. It doesn't matter if you are best buds or even twins. If your decision is based on him, you're setting yourself up for a lot of headaches and heartaches. In the end, you'll end up hating him because of the decision you made. Follow your heart and do what's best for you. No one else is going to watch out for your interest, except you...

Well, if you went to private school, you could stay friends with him, right? And even if you don't, you're going to make new friends. Sometimes people grow apart because of things like this (because of how their parents raise them). So, this is something you have to think about. You are very lucky to be able to make this kind of decision for yourself. Your friend obviously isn't so lucky...Do what's best for you. Good luck!

you gotta live your own life. My friend and I decided to go to college together. Everything was set up. We both put down our deposits. Had our room assigned, and guess what? One month before school she backed out. I spent my first semester with a slob from hell!!!! DO whats right for you.

well try to do what is best for your education.. I know that is what you want to hear right. Look you are going to go where you feel most comfortable. You are not always going to have your buddies around, so where ever you go keep your head up

if your still in the same city, go to whatever school you want to, just becuase your not in the same school doesnt mean u still cant be best buds

go to what ever school you want....even if you two don't go to the same school you can still hang out...go to what ever school you think is right for you and the way you want to learn....I'm sure your friend will understand.
