Well, I've seen a lot of people recommend a Ouija board, but say 'don't try it' without saying *why* exactly you shouldn't. Well, there's a couple of reasons. If you want to go to the extremely scientific end, then it's because it's a waste of however much money you spend on the stupid board. If you go on the right-wing extremist end, it's because you'll get possessed by demons and feel a desire to pretend to be an Elf and play D&D.

However, if you ask people who deal with energy work (yes, the term is hokey, shut up), then you get to a third reason why you shouldn't.

You don't know what you're doing. Do not mess with things that you have no training in. Why? Because trying to do something that you have no training in is a good way to hurt yourself. They don't start you out breaking boards with Karate so don't start trying to talk to the dead at sleep-overs.

There really is no way to contact the dead. At a sleep over, that is. There are very powerful people who can do so, though there are not a lot around to show you how to do it. A sleepover, well, isn't really a time to contact the dead. It is a very personal thing.

Halt!!! Do not try one of those boards every one is telling you about.
Shame on parker brothers and milton bradly for making games out of them!
They are bad, evil and nasty.
when you use one you open a porthole to the other side. the other side has many levels. You have no way of knowing what level you have opened. Dark entities will lie to gain your trust and come into your home. They will make your life a living night mare.
I have cleans and blessed many a' houses where the people thoiught it would be funny to play with this.
If you want to do this hire a medium to connect.
There are some that will come to your home. I even do group chats on line and do this But do not.. I repeat do not use one of those boards!

Ouija boards or table tipping, but I wouldn't recommend them unless you know what you are doing. It's dangerous because you can invoke evil energies.

You must say prayers for protection before you attempt to contact the dead and to send the evil entities on their way.

We say the Lord's Prayer before doing any table tipping.

Hire a medium. But that would be scary to do that at a sleepover. Someone might get scared and call their mom to come get them--and then everyone might get in trouble.

Hmmm..well, I am a ghosthunter, by hobby, so I will tell you this...the dead will not "come out" unless they want to. Ouija Boards are a good way, but those are not great to mess with.
