People have accused me of being right up my own bottom because I'm an actress but I have heard of the Irish Question and the West Lothian Question. Trouble is I don't know the anwsers. I hope that humble but charming confession endears me to you all a little more.

You bring it on yourself.
Whether it's the 'have you seen us get away with it' question or attributing other people's stories to yourself, you seem to have a need to portray an image of faded glamour and aura of the grand old dame of theatre.
Your reference points are that of am-dram and the would-be's it attracts.
Nothing wrong with theatre in a scout hut but it is not remotely like the professional world.
Stop pretending and just concentrate on the actual production.

The Irish Question was about what to do with Ireland ages ago. It was a question about giving them their own country. In the end they split, with the protestants staying loyal and getting Northern Ireland as part of the UK and the rest got their independance.
The West Lothian Question was raised with the establishment of the scottish parliament. If a scot was elected for the Westminster(english) parliament, he could vote on english affairs and UK PMs couldn't vote on scottish affairs.
They're more phrases today than actual questions.
