I own 27 cameras, and not one of them is digital. I used to run a photo lab, and I'm familiar with digital work, but I prefer to work with negatives. My favorite camera is a 25 year old manual Minolta. I have the regular 55mm lens and a telephoto lens, as well as a filter system that allows me to do special effects. I will end up getting a digital camera. The one I want is the Kodak 6490. I also like the Canon Rebel, but it's very expensive.

I LOVE my digital camera. I have a Canon Elph and I often say it's the best purchase I've ever made. It seriously rocks. I love being able to see the pictures as I take them and so if they don't turn out, I can re-take them right then. The camera also takes the clearest pictures I've ever seen. I seriously can zoom in to the point that I can see individual hair follicles. It's insane. Anyway, I love it.

I have never had a 35mm camera so I have to say I like my digital camera better, it is so easy to use and to download the pictures to my computer.

Digital because that way I can see it before I waste money on printing it, I can alter it, change sizes and I can keep thousands of them in a very small space. I can also easily send them to other people and can use them as a screen show on my computer.

digital, because you are not using up film and you get to choose what pictures you want to print, so it ends up costing you a lot less than a film camera

I still like the resolution on my old 35mm- but digital is getting there fast.
