Does he sleep with the light off? If he does maybe he's afraid of the dark or of being by himself in the room. Try putting a night light in his room for a while and play some soft music, it tends to sooth and relax the child so that they can fall asleep. I did this with my son when he was that age. He's now seven, and now sleeps on his own just fine. Try giving him his favorite blanket or favorite toy it'll give him some comfort. I 'm in the process of doing this with my 2 1/2 year old. When I put my 2 1/2 year old to bed I let him know that if he needs me, I'm not to far away and that he's safe and I tell him that I love him. That helps him as well it just takes a little patience. Good Luck.

He is probably a little stressed. You should be happy that he isn't screaming for you because hes scared or something. He will grow out of it, he is only doing it cause he feels safe with you and he needs a good nights sleep.

When you wake up and find him in your room, just put him back in his room. Just keep doing it and hope that he will finally just stay in his bed.

All kids go through this, try not to push the issue about him coming into your room.you dont want him to think that he cant go to moms room or she will get mad..ask him what can you do that will make him feel more secure in his own room.
