Ouch, honey..that's a rule of thumb. You NEVER under any circumstances date two guys who are friends. That ALWAYS backfires. The only thing I can tell you to do is to follow your heart. If you like the one more, then go out with him, but you also need to make sure that you are honest with both guys about everything. Tell the guy that you are going to date that you have chose him, but that his friend was interested and you did, in fact contimplate it for a moment. Tell the un-chosen guy that you just feel your heart is with the other guy, and you know that they are friends, but that you hope that things will still be cool between all of you. If you are not honest about it with both of them, they are going to find out about it, and they'll both be mad, and you will probably lose them both. Trust me on this, been there.

I suggest you spend time with one at a time first to get to know them in a different way than just friends. Sometimes a guy is a great friend but a horrible boyfriend. If you recently broke up with your bf, you may be too vulnerable to start a new relationship just yet. I'd wait a while before you commit to someone new.

Sounds like you like the 2 yr guy more. Why do you feel like a jerk? Stay friends with the other one.

Tell them your not exclusive, dont sleep with either of them or make out with them(Kiss is fine just not making out) and you should have no prob dating them both.

YOU AREN'T A JERK! BUT YOU NEED TO LEAVE BOTH OF THEM ALONE AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE. BEST BUDS WILL STICK TOGETHER AND YOU WILL END UP GETTING HURT.

stick with the one u're sure of and tell the other one tactfully that u chose his friend. if u want my honest opinion, i'd say see if they're interested in a threesome, though i doubt it.
