I'm a straight male but I do have a good friend thats gay, I don't discriminate just as long as another guy doesn't try and touch my wing wang I don't care what your sexual preference is. Thank you Yahoo for this program because now I can ask these questions that have ben bugen to come out for a long, long time. What makes a guy gay. What finally drove you to the point to where you said I'm just tired of females and I want a change? Do you ever think of getten it on with a women? What makes another male more sexually attractive then a women?

Please try to answer as many questions as you can? Sorry for all the questions I just would like to beable to better understand life through your eyes by reading what you have to say rather then always seeing it on television and on the news.

I was born that way. Ever since I can honestly remember I've had an attraction towards other men. When I was younger, of course, it wasn't sexual...remember when you were in elementary school and started to have crushes on girls? Well, I had crushes on guys...nothing bad ever happened to me, I was raised in a normal family, if there is such a thing. No woman ever chided me, and no I probably wouldn't get it on with a woman. The though of sex with a woman is about as appealing as sex with a guy is for you - not quite so.

It's not a matter of getting tired of females. How many times do we have to explain. It's a matter of just not feeling any attraction at all to the opposite sex. It's not that the same sex person is more attractive than a member of the opposite sex. Have you talked to your friend? He knows you're straight. Why do you think he'd touch your 'wing wang'? How mature of you to use a baby word. Gay men don't go after straight men intentionally --(unless they're playing head games). Some gay men may have dated women before they admitted their true feelings.
I'll explain from my lesbaian perspective. I can't think like a guy. I was raised to follow a certain path by my parents: go to school ,find a boyfriend, get married, have babies. wow, exciting! That's the path i tried to follow even tho I knew something wasn't right. I didn't know what other paths were available to me. Some years after being in a boring marriage I fell head over heels for a neighbor - that's when the light when on in my head. Oh, that's what love is supposed to feel like? When I was sure of my own sexuality, I ended the marriage. I have been very happy discovering I was a lesbian before bringing children into this world. everybody is different. Men often find their 'different ' feeelingswhenthey areonly 5 or 6. Women have a tendancy to figure it out a little later, maybe because we are allowed the very strong bonds of female friend at a young age and don't realize how close those bonds really are. Talk to your friend. Ask him questions. Be sincere and he will answer them honestly.

How was you attracted to females? Bet you though I was going to say you was born that way didn't you?

Attractions are formed Though this is an example that lightly describes what happens, I think you can get the idea. It is like when your mom made you try something and you looked at it with disgust, you tried it and then you liked it and you accepted it as liking it.

People are not born heterosexual or homosexual. We are influenced. So some children may have been innocently influenced, some may have been influenced by means not innocently done. Children forget what happens up, but the likes and dislike are still there.

Some People do not even believe they was influenced because they forgot the influence like most children do. I was 40 before i could remember what the influences was. Thought i was born gay. Well i know now people are not born gay. Nor are they born heterosexual, but it is the Christian or God Almighty's plan for us to be heterosexual. We all fall short of the glory without Jesus Christ. Heterosexual and homosexual.

People don't decide to be gay. If they did, they would all be masochistic, because life is much easier if you're straight. Some people say it is genetic, some think it is as a result of your environment. People are still on the fence on that one.

About you question as to what makes another male more attractive to a man, I don't know how to answer that. It is like asking a straight man why he favors one type of women over another one.

I have always been attracted to females, though I have been in a gay relationship for 8.5 years. I look at women, and I find them attractive. But as is the case in any committed relationship, whether gay or straight, you can look, but don't need to act upon your desires...unlike they are really strong, and then, out of honesty for your partner, it should be made clear so he/she knows what to expect. Also, I assume that you only consider gay males. How about lesbians? What do you think about this, and how do you differentiate the impact of lesbianism on your thought process?

some of the writers here are bit harsh, he means no harm.

(1) What makes a guy gay?
everybody has different definition but all definition includes liking a guy in a sexual way.

(2)What finally drove you to the point to where you said I'm just tired of females and I want a change?
I am a bi male but
Nature consistently knocks at your door. it starts at the beginning of the adolescent phase

(3)Do you ever think of getten it on with a women?
my gay friends says yes but only if VERY specific types of women come. it is like getting some kids to eat vegetables. Though the kid may not like veggies but they should have at least one favourite veggie.

(4)What makes another male more sexually attractive than a women? from experiences
Women have soft lovely skins and are gentle whereas guys are more adventurous and firm in physique.
It all depends on one's fetishes.

Okay, I'm assuming you are on the up and up and really want answers to your questions. Most gay people are born that way. Because we grow up in a straight dominated world, we may try straight dating first, but we were always gay. It just takes some time to figure it out. If you are straight, you can't be turned gay, and if I am gay, I can't be turned straight.

Do we thing about women? Some of us do, especially as we are growing up and just figuring out where we are in life. But in time, we stop that, at least most of us do. And what makes a man more attractive? The fact that we're gay. It's the same thing that makes a woman more attractive to you!

What makes you think its a choice? A lot of us were never into females to begin with. What we got tired of was fighting who we are. Wanting to be "gay" is just wanting to be yourself. You have to give up fighting it sooner or later or just carry on being miserable because it's not something you can change. What makes a woman more sexually attractive than man? Its just how you are. You dont choose it its just your preference. A woman is what you are naturally attracted to for a "gay" it is a man. Just think of your own sexuality, its exactly like that for someone whose "gay" the genders are just different and it's nowhere as near excepted. Everyone would be normal if they could choose it but unfortunately that's just not the case.

ok lets see if i ca nhelp you our most people feel that they were born gay but others have a feeling that some trauma in ones live has forced them subcon. to be diff from everyone else

like if a gilr ws raped or molested then she deep down has trust issues with guys stuff like that
or a girl does not have a good relationship with her mother
or a boy has no father figure stuff like that

they tur out gay i have even heard some one trying to tell me that the reason i am gay was because i was strok by lightning

yes i was strok but i was gay befor the lol

but any way for me what makes girl so much more atracive to me is that they can get more personal then guys and i get
its like the know what you are dealing with and oyu dont weven have to say any thing like soul mates

girls understand personal things that guys just can not understand

as for me i have found my soul mate in my ppartner and she is the first lesbian relationship that i have been in and we are going on our 5th year together and i am the happyest i have ever been in my entire live no matter who or what i have lost to be with her and i have lost a lot but its kindof worth it if you know what i mean

SORRY FOR THE SPELLING AND IF I RAMBLED ON

My research into sexuality is leading me to believe that homosexuals no more choose to be gay than you chose to be straight. Here are two articles you can read to gain a little insight into the subject (the second is more of a comparison of viewpoints):

http://www.boston.com/news/globe/magazine/articles/2005/08/14/what_makes_people_gay/
http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_caus4.htm

Personally, I'm probably best described as bisexual since I find both sexes sexually attractive.

dude! come on! you're ok with gays as long as they don't try to "touch my wing wang" ??!! why do straight guys always think gay guys always want them? is your ego that huge?
yes, I am a lesbian...but this question is asked of both gays/lesbians all the time. no one is straight and gets "tired" of the opposite sex and "becomes" gay. you either are, or you aren't. when did you chose to be straight? did you get "tired" of guys and decide to "become" straight? do you not realize how silly your questions are? we see the same ones over an over...
