ok, well, here's how you can think your way through it. 20% is the same thing as 10% multiplied by 2. taking 10% of something means moving the decimal place one space to the left. so in this case: 10% of 1260 would be 126. multiplying this by two would give you 252. so 20% of 1260 would be 252.
