me again...yes...and then sometimes they say, "umm is not an answer"...omg...that just burns me up...like u say, im thinking, that's just a freakin' reaction...get used to it...lots of ppl do it, ya know!

Yes, I don't really mean to, but it just comes out. I hate it when I say "umm" and the other person says "umm, what?"

Yes, yes I do. Stupid but I do it.
Have a "due to due" son. Says it everytime I wake him from the couch when he doesn't want to acknowledge being asleep. Pretends he was awake.
We joke about it but I think it's ingrained because he did it again 10 minutes ago.

I try not to because it's kind of poor on the gramar side. The best thing to do is say: "Well......" and let it trail off while you think of an answer. Or repeat their question while you think of an answer to give them.
