I think the best source would be the mail-order nurseries and seed companies. Try Burpee, Park's, Stark Brothers, Hastings, Spring Hill, to name a few. They all have websites. It depends on where you live. Remember that raspberries are colder weather plants that can't be grown well in Southern locales.

First, you don't want a raspberry bush, you want a row of at least 10. Raspberries are not a shrub. They are biennial canes that grow the first year, fruit the second year and then die. But they send underground runners that put up new canes.

Till the area well, plant the canes about 12" apart and keep weeds down by applying a foot of composted manure. The raspberries will thank you!

All you need is full sun. Prune the fruiting canes back to the ground after harvesting. Buy some gloves, and enjoy!

I WOULD TALK TO SOMEONE IN A GARDEN STORE OR NURSERY TO GET ALL THE FACTS.
