Isreal depends on US for defense.

We americans don't adore the israelis but we do have a soft spot for them. Ever since ww2 we made a promise to our selves never to let the jews down again. We also admire the under dog which israel was early on in its wars with its neighbors. This admiration is wearing off as of late now they are the bullies of there neighbors. However our commitment to Israel is still strong.

I guess the french have forgotten our historic great relationships. with out each other nether country would be here today. The french helped in fighting the English, that helped the US become independent, they helped again in the war of 1812. We helped save them in WWI and WWII. But now it seams the french are moving more towards being socialists (and who says we won the cold war) I wish them the best, and hope they get out of this phases soon, they are missed.
