Here are some tests that you can take on line. I personally don't believe they will tell you what you are having but hey it's fun!

Besides that, the only thing is an amniocentesis, which is a long needle that is inserted into your belly and then fluid is taken out. That and birth are the only ways that will give you a 100%, even if you do find out. With you being just 6 weeks, unfortunately, waiting is just starting. You should have an ultrasound at around 20 weeks and then you will know for sure, that is if the baby is being nice and spreads it legs for the camera...

Now, you being the women and being pregnant, might know. Not really have any reason, but you just know in your heart. I have 4 kids and I knew what the first 3 were, but the 4th threw me. 2 girls and 2 boys. Wow! Just wait and see. Enjoy the time and make it fun guessing and having your friends guess. One thing that you could do is, start taking bets on what the sex will be and when it will be born. That is a way to make some money and for people to "donate" to the new baby. Kind of like a "baby pool".

Sorry, but it's the only SURE way to know. Why do you ask? Do you not want an ultrasound done or something?

Because if that's the case, they have to do one anyways around 20 weeks to make sure everything is going ok with the baby.

Congratulations!

AN AMINO WHERE THEY STICK A NEEDLE IN THE uterus and draw out fluid is 100% accurate at telling gender. They don't do a amino unless there is a problem. Also at 6 week they won't do one i think you have to be past 3 months. A ultersound at 18 to 20 weeks is a good way to know even a ultersound MAY NOT be able to tell.

By amnio (not recommended due to chance of miscarriage (per my OB)

by blood draw that is done if you get the nuchal fold u/s done at about 12-14 weeks.

Can't really go by the carrying, cause with my daughter I carried across the front, she stayed close to me all the time. My son is similar in the way I am carrying, not really carrying him high as the old wives tale says they are suppose to.

sorry, this is probably none of my business, but wouldn't you rather wait for the delivery? oooh exciting! then it'll be like in the movies, all tearful, it's a boy! OH MY GOD!!! or it's a girl! OH MY GOD!!! ahh it's just so much more..clique, granted, but soooo magical.
