Absolutely...if they act very deffensive and do the whole, 'how could you' speech, they are trying to switch the blame on you instead of focusing on the truth, that they *****d up.

Not always. Sometimes the shock of the accusation can cause people to react in a way that they normally do not act and the other person will try to read that as an answer.

On the other hand, some people can lie really well and can keep a straight face when they are being accused.

So, it is very hard to tell by reaction alone. Do some more investigating and time will usually tell.

I don't think a person should be judged for their reaction to an accusation. There are a lot of people that would have an extremely nervous reaction whether guilty or innocent.

It may be an indicator and it may not be. I guess that would depend on the accusation and what proof you may have to back your statement.

Sometimes just the way one words a sentence can often put the other person on the defensive.

some things r just 2 shocking 2 believe i was once accused of sleeping with a family member and i almost passed out i could not believe some one would actually sleep with a close family member let along me

I don't think so. People react to things differently and you can misjudge someones reaction if you think everyone responds to situations the same way.
