Absolutely. I did at first, but it just looks so much neater when all the hangers match. The only have wire hangers in my house when I get stuff from the cleaners. Then I throw all of them out except for one. You never know when someone's gonna lock their keys in the car.

absolutely no wire hangers! I'm a bit nutty when it comes to my closet as well. I don't try to do this on purpose or anything - but I've noticed that the hangers tend to match the shirts, etc.
Maybe a bit OCD. ;-)

I will go for the hugs and tickles but you would throw me out of the house because my hangers do not match. Sorry.
(I agree about no wire hangers though!)

I have the plastic ones to hang the older clothes on but believe it or not I have crochet hangers my Great Aunt made me before she died at the age of 98. They are soft and in the contiguous shades that start light and go to dark and I Cherish them very much.Only my best blouses hang on them ! :) Oh, and I have a box hanger I hide my valentines candy in for my husband each year.He never has found it yet . LOL

I have no wire hangers. I use the plastic ones. But I do have different styles and colors of the plastic ones.

I hate wire hangers too. (My hubby teases me about that) I have all plastic, but they don't match. As long as the clothes are hung up and not on WIRE, I am good!

Mine are a mix ... plastic, wooden, wire, whatever is available. My closet is too packed (not tidy like yours).

no wire hangers, but they definitely DON'T match. i have hundreds of hangers in my closet... i couldn't possibly have them ALL match.
my closet is very tidy, though.. :)
