We will establish bases and base 30,000 men there for the next 60+ years (look at Korea and Japan. They turned out great but we still own bases which is a perk).

About 2 years. If the right person gets into office then they will pull the troops out and we will get attacked and go to war all over again. Then everyone will feel like idiots for not listening to Bush or supporting the war against Iraq the first time.

If you want the truth Bush has started WWIII The fighting will not stop and during that Iraqi's rebels will find a weapon of mass destruction and use it bringing countries into the war. Im suggesting the main allies will be USA France Britain Italy & (Japan)maybe and Enemies will be All Iraqi countries pakistan etc North Korea Germany

If the intension is to stabalize Iraq and get democratic institutions in place it will probably take at least 10 years.
