-is it doable? is it complicated? - where do you get one?
does it work? I have very limited technological knowledge and I know the warrenty will be voided if you open the xbox but the warrenty is up cause it was bought on ebay

replacing the power supply in an XBOX is actually quite similar to doing so in a computer (if you have ever done that) it can be complicated if you dont know what to do, and if you aren;t very confident i would reccomend taking it to a computer/electrical supply store adn seeing if they will fix it.

Quite do-able. Once you open it up you void the warrenty. Just find a tutorial on line for instructions
