yesss its worth it! i got it and i love it if you sweat alot it does not smear or come off ..love it
actually the Mineral Veil is my fav.its....

For the ultimate, translucent "finishing touch" to your makeup, Mineral Veil melts into your skin, infusing it with softness and light, giving the look you see with a soft focus camera lens. Completely sheer and works for all skin tones, Mineral Veil gently absorbs oil and minimizes the appearance of lines and pores. Buff on Mineral Veil over bareMinerals Foundation to lend extra staying power.

I've used the Bare Minerals for several years and loved it. But I have found Everyday Minerals is just as good. They are online only, so they cost about 1/2 as much. It comes in more formulas, too- matte, semi-matte original glo and a new full coverage for older skin. The colors are easier to pick out- at least they were for me, and I like the different concealers and blush colors. They will send you free samples for postage only, and they have special kits that are even better savings. Give them a look- you may find you can get more stuff for less. As far as the Bare Minerals,I don't care for the Mineral veil, by the way- it was the only thing that made me break out(it's rice or something- not minerals). I went without it and it was fine.

Honey buy the starter kit you will love it and the $60 it is all worth it. You will enjoy the total difference in your face. this makeup makes it look as if you have a natural glow. Mineral veil is a powder that you put over the bare minerals makeup to make it last longer and stay longer. It's wonderful. I wear bare minerals and MAC.

I have tried BE & as it may work for you I would try Everyday Minerals. You can get a free kit just pay S&H. I have used & didn't like it. This stuff works so great. You can choose from so many more face colors & finishes. Not to mention the prices are way better.

Save yourself some money and invest in the Physician's Formula Mineral Wear line(www.physiciansformula.com). You can also buy the Sorme Mineral loose powder. A fraction of the cost of what you would spend on Bare Minerals and you get more.

My mom has normal to dry skin and she has used the products for over five to six years and says she will never use anything else again. I have not personally tried them yet, but I want to, and I have more of a normal/oily complexion....so I would agree that anyone can use them...go to their website and read more about it.....I went under their web site and copied this for you....

i.d. bareMinerals makeup is about being true to your i.d.entity. Bare Escentuals started the revolution in mineral makeup with the introduction of our 100% pure bareMinerals™.

All foundations, cheek and eye colors have been crushed to a silky, creamy powder form...but it's NOT a powder. These are 100% pure bareMinerals that are free of preservatives, talc, oil, fragrance and other harmful chemicals. The formula provides impeccable coverage for every skin type and skin tone, and protects with a natural sunscreen. With the exception of Mineral Veil, all our loose products, such as foundation, blush, eyeshadows, glimmers, glimpses and liner shadows, are bareMinerals.

But bareMinerals are just the beginning. Our i.d. makeup line also offers complete color cosmetics and treatments designed to enhance your natural beauty, such as lipsticks, lip liners, lip glosses, mascaras, skin preps, flawless application brushes and more

its only good if you have oily skin ... if you have dry skin it will make it more obvious .. try sheer cover, its perfect and waaaaay cheaper and when you pick a color you should choose a color darker than your skin, but if you want high quality make-up brushes for cheaper get the bare minerals, i heard their brushes are awesum !
