VH1 never has Dimebag Darrel in their top 3 so i say they can suck my big toe. Here's my top 5, read and learn VH1.

1) Dimebag Darrel, best ever no question about it.
2) Stevie Ray Vaugn, made it ok for white men to sing the blues.
3) Gary Rossington, two words "Free Bird".
4) Kerry King, FU*KIN SLAYER!!!!!!
5) Slash, he's simply the sh*t.
450) Eddie Van Halen, his arrogance broke up the only good Van Halen.

How could your list not include Eric Claypton? And I agree Eddie busted up Van Halen but arrogant or not he is above all on your list. Slayer?? Puleasee..Jimmie Hendrix and Jimmy Page not on it either. Kenny Wayne Shepard .Then there is Steve Vai, and the guy from Rush, cant think of his name right now.B.B.King, Keith Richards, Randy Rhoads I could go on. You have one right, Stevie Ray Vaughn,Rossington in top 10 MAYBE. The rest are wanna be's

I like Dave Mustaine and Chris Poland for metal, but they're nowhere near the BEST... Robert Johnson and B.B. King would have to split my vote... and I absolutely love that you mentioned Stevie Ray Vaughan... But Jimi Hendrix also deserves mention...
