My sister (age 50) always gets two copies when it comes out, so she won't have to wait for her daughter to finish the latest Harry Potter. That way, they both sit down and read all day to see what happened.

I'm 27 and I can't wait for the new harry potter book. I have to say I LOVE the books and have noticed that as the series goes along, it is becoming a bit more adult with every book.

There was a convention in Las Vegas just recently that was meant for educators who want to use Harry Potter in their curriculums. (curricula?) But a reporter commented that it seemed to be taken over by adult fans in Hogwarts robes! I'm glad that I have a group of adult fans to share the fandom with. Don't be afraid to "come out", you may find new friends! And by the way, aren't you anxious about the end of the stories? What will we do with no new stories to look forward to?

No...why should kids get to have all the fun? My husband and I are both huge Harry Potter fans. So is our 11 year old son. The movies are good, but we love the books.

I'm with you.

Apparently Stephen King attended a reading given recently by J. K. Rowling...he begged her not to kill off Harry in her last book. I (of course) feel the same.

The question that still keeps me awake at night, after three readings of Book Six, is whether Severus Snape is REALLY with the Order of the Phoenix, or REALLY with Lord Voldemort.... Could he have killed Dumbledore to save Draco Malfoy from becoming a killer himself?

Anyway, I'll be there at midnight when the book goes on sale. :)

No, actually there are quite a few of us. It is a great story, and like all great stories, appeals to all ages. My adult daughter actually got me interested in the series. Now, my grandchildren, my daughters and I all look forward to the seventh book!

No, there are millions of us adults who are waiting in anticipation. I finished the last one the day after it was released, and I was WELL into adulthood by then.

I am thirty plus, for The Half Baked Prince, I made the supreme sacrifice, I bought it and gave it to my niece to read first, made her promise not to discuss it. Then I read it. So I am looking forward to the next one. Do you have an idea what it will be called or when it's gonna come out?
