i prefer black when using ink
BUT i prefer to use a very sharp pencil!!!
i am in college again and am using pencil and i love it

I prefer blue but when it comes to business documents that have to be photocopied, blue doesn't work too well, so I choose black. I believe black is the industry standard, while you can choose any color your heart desires for personal stuff. :)
