If someone had told you a year ago, would you have believed them?

what,has happened in your life, where this might apply?

Wow, what a question! A year ago today my family became homeless...for real. Then, 2 weeks later I had a hysterectomy that went wrong...now I am back to work and we are in an apartment of our own. It is a little cramped, my boys have the big room. And my husband and I have the room that is the size of a queen size bed. One bathroom for 5 people. Next month we are getting an apartment where we will be much more comfortable. We will have the master bedroom, my oldest will hve his own room, and we can have a pet. It is isn't the beautiful middle class life we had before, but it is getting better.

Well actually 2 years. If someone told me I'd be living in this apartment with my boyfriend, I wouldn't have believed them.

That I was going to feel like crap in my 30's....lol
Really people told me that I thought they were nuts but now that I'm in my 30's I feel pretty bad. I just hope the part that the 40's are better is right and I'm not going to feel like this forever...haha

Absolutely not ... and if I had even the slightest fear that they would have been right, I would have handled things far differently. (A child in our family was abused by another family member, and we are all now dealing with the negative impacts of that)
