Although with our current knowledge of genetics and DNA bringing back extinct species is possible (and it has been done - some guy brought back some extinct breed of cow using genetics and breeding techniques) to be able to bring back something so genetically different than anything living on Earth now might be something not seen for decades. When it happens though...who knows. If they do bring them back, I think the scientists will be careful enough to not let anything escape.

Just because some species become extinct due to environmental factors does not mean they will not thrive in a world we live in today or even a future world for that matter. We are not living in an Ice Age are we ? and Yes, scientist and the people behind them will make mistakes (it is Murphy's Law) especially when dabbling into a realm of science that we have no prior experience.
I totally agree with discord43 except that if Jesus were cloned it would most likely look and act like him, but not the same spirit.

I think its very possible that we try to revive mammals such as the mammoth by cloning. I'm not sure if they would ever try dinosaurs, it would be a very risky thing to do. Anyways, I dont think there is any DNA available of dinosaurs to actually clone them. In Jusarric park they were extremely lucky to find the blood of an ancient dinosaur within the blood sac inside of misquito preserved in some tree sap. The things we see in movies, are usually the things that almost never happen in real life.

The reason they are extinct is largely due to environmental factors...so technically they will not be making a long-term comeback. However you are correct scientists do things which the logical mind cannot fathom. Which means they do things which are not necessarily "advancing" us as a people but simply because they can. I think it would be safe to say that while it CAN happen with a sample of DNA...unless these creatures are in a controlled environment they will become extinct once again because of the environment.

I like your imagination. As for the obvious answer. Probably not in our generation, who knows what the future holds. In some cases, they find living species of animals on the extinct list. Look at Anthropology, than look at Cryptozoology. One says the other is nuts, but we are only a discovery away. There is still alot of mysteries out there. Good luck with the studies...

Yeah, extinct means gone forever, but it might happen. You just have to find a cell with DNA that's not too badly damaged so you could implant it into an egg cell of a female closely related to the certain animal the DNA belongs to.

Sorry, i did no longer examine the finished positioned up, yet I in basic terms could make it sparkling to you that the observe translated hell interior the Bible is surely a observe bearing on a "pit" very like a grave. So the assumption of a hellfire the place human beings are punished for eternity isn't biblically based.

It is possible now to clone extinct animals if we can find their DNA. Of course, cloning is illegal in most countries, but I doubt that will stop it. It's possible that someone will clone an extinct animal, I suppose. Yes, it could be dangerous. To me, though, how would it be if we could get some DNA from Jesus, and clone Him? Would that work?

I'm sure they will because commercial uses will become apparent. Gene therapy is probably the next quantum leap in medicine. Bringing back old and extinct genes or recreating them for reasons that we can't conceive of yet is almost inevitable.

In order to bring them back they would have to be born in other animals so we will never really see a "pure" extinct animal walk again. And knowing scientists, i bet they would try and bring back dinosaurs.
