hey guys, what do you know about the website www.alibris.com in here they sell cheap books, however i want to know if anyone of you know about these website. it is a safe to buy here. thaks, the thing is that i need to buy many books for school.

http://www.alibris.com is an excellent website for rare and out-of-print books. Yes, it's trustworthy, but I don't think it's cheap, unless you're buying used textbooks, then I say GO FOR IT!.

I've done amazon.com and ebay for buying books for school, and I find it is just easier to make sure you are getting the exact books you need when buying from the bookstore. 1/2 the books I've bought online are not the right ones because even though these people have somewhat of a college education, they can't list a sale if their lives depended on it. Anyway, you help the school keep tuition and stuff down (I know it sounds weird, but I've read multiple independent studies) by buying the books at the bookstore.

I've bought several books from alibris, and had excellent service and good quality merchandise!
