The short answer is no but anything is possible with teh threat of viruses. Screen savers almost never hav emalicious code or anything else to harm your pc, excluding bogging the processor/memory which would only slow it down. If you have any doubts, uninstall it if you have installed it already and/or scan the files for viruses. Again, any doubt, scan the downloaded file for viruses.

Mean trojans and spywares...tut tut
Don't do it ;)
BUT You can download and play Insaniaquitarium by Popcap Games and you can create your own 3d aquarium screen saver. It's lovely and gorgeous. You should at least give it a try once ;)

I wouldn't take a chance. I once downloaded a screen saver that would keep changing pictures and it did that and also just about ruined my computer. Don't do it!!

It might be loaded with adware and spyware. You can always use an anti-virus to scan the executable file before you open it though. Otherwise just open it and if you get spyware, us AdAware or SpyWare Search & Destroy.

It depends if it has spyware and adware built in.
I'm in the process of testing, so I'll let you know how damaging it is to the PC.
