I got this off a bumper sticker. I thought it was funny. I do listen to my wife. She always keeps that frying pan handy in case I don't.

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/savemarriage

It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

The answer differs depending on whether a man answers it or a woman. Usually men don't consider communication important, but for women it is as important as the air they are breathing. No one is a mind reader. If you don't communicate, you start assuming things and from this lots of anger, sadness, etc. can be born. Bottom line: it IS important to communicate.

Communication is important but sometimes we find ourselves being selfish with our feelings. We feel that we are not wrong and the other person is. We have to look at everything objectively in order for it to work. Try doing email notes or lunchbox or shower notes. Even if you do not quite understand everything make an honest effort to listen attentively.

Absolutely. Open communication is veryyyyyyy important because it builds trust.

No matter what, you should talk first, because women like it when we tell them how we feel all the time. They trust us when they know that we can .

You also have to be a genuine friend too. This means listen and listen with your heart too, always.

I would say the grunting that the male does while having sex with his spouse is communication enough for him. But I think that the wife probably has a different view of that.....lol
