How can I go about removing my governor on my Caprice?

well id start with the spark plugs and wires, then go to the pulleys and belt. a new intake and a re-programmend computer chip will also boost you but if you want top speed put some racing fuel in the tank or jet fuel

THE COMPUTER IS WHAT IS HOLDING YOU UP IT HAS A REV LIMITER PRESET BY THE MANUFACTURER AND THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU CAN CHANGE THAT IS TO EITHER REPROGRAM THE PCM OR GET A HY-PER-TECH CHIP AND INSTALL IT THAT WILL TAKE OUT THE REV LIMITER.
