main types are usually glassware i.e. flasks , pipettes, burettes. fillers for these equipment . then you've got the Bunsen burners , stands, evaporating equipment (distillation flasks, round bottom, pear shaped flasks etc.). after that it just depends on what type of lab you're in . an organic lab would have more sensitive equipment . IR machines, melting point apparatus. an instrumentation lab would have HPLC, IR(infrared), GC(gas chromatography), AAS(atomic absorption Spectroscopy) equipment. Physics lab usually has a mix of these with detailed programs of computer to help with readings and calculations(some of which are waay too long!) hope this helps some bit

If you need pictures I suggest doing an image search for the apparatus. I use these images in my powerpoint presentations. Just go to your home page and type in the apparatus you need. Select "image" from the search choices and go.
