what's their ethnicity ? white or other?

It’s not a laughing matter. A lot of people don’t know. Better ask and base your future opinions on a solid ground and not on biases.

Jews are Originally from The land of Israel. Israel is God given name for Jacob (as in Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob).

At the year 70 AD The Romans kicked them out. Through the ages they where scattered all over the world. They where persecuted, mostly by the church and suffered many assaults and transfers. (Some of them came to America to avoid these persecutions).

A lot of the European Jews eventually said - "We got the point, nobody wants us around - we'll go back to Israel" And they did. From about the 18 hundreds a lot of European Jews returned to Israel (although, Jews lived in Israel through all history but where minority there).

When they came back to Israel - it was under the Ottoman Empire (Today Turkey), after that - The British Empire.

They got the land in 4 ways:

1. By right of return (you can argue about that, since it took them 1700 years).

2. By purchasing land from local Muslims and Christians.

3. After the Holocaust, the world recognized that Jews need a home because all the atrocities done to them anywhere else. So by UN vote on 1948 the modern state of Israel was established.

4. Day after the above declaration - 7 Arab countries attacked Israel and wedged a war on it. Some of the Jews that fought this war where just burly made it through the Holocaust, came to Israel and went straight to war. (A war that was not sought by Israel).

The Arab Muslims argue that the Israelis need to return to where they came from, meaning Europe.
The Jews lived in Europe, but Europe didn’t want them and it made it more then clear.

Besides - Half of the Israeli Jews are from the Middle East (Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon etc. Me included). These Jews from the middle east where expelled from these Arb-Muslim countries into Israel. Point being made - these Israeli Jews are Indigenous to the middle east. As part of the middle east, they definitely invited all their brothers from Europe to join them.

Think about that - 500 Million Arabs in the middle east in more then 15 countries, on land at least as big as USA.
Israeli Jews - 5 million in one country that is as big as NJ.

However- they were thrown into a diaspora and lived throughout europe, the middle east and north africa. They've been kicked out of every decent country in the world for the last 2000 years- and then it got really bad for them in the middle of the last century. So, some of them thought it would be a nice idea to have a place of their own.

There are only about 13 million Jews in the world.

There are different types of Israelies; If you're born in one place, you could be very white; if in another, you could be very dark-skinned.
