from what ive heard it is practically a full blown pc. if that is true then, no it isnt a rip off.

PS3 is the best video game console, it even better than Xbox 360 and the Wii, but it cost too much $600 for it and about $80 for 1 game, tell Sony that can they make the price lower

Yes and no. Personally I went to E3 and wasn't 700$ worth of impressed with it. If I were you, I'd consider the Wii... now THAT I would spend a nice chunk on because of its innovative and fun controllers.
Ps-I'm usually a PS fan, but I was blown away by the Wii

hell yeah i would rather buy that new game cube or an xbox 360 i hear that the PS3 will cost 700 dollars that's to much for me but they do say that it has the best graphics but it is to much money.

I think the PS3 has a lot to offer for the money. Internet, a best graphics card made so far, and even thought the controllers are weird, they look nice.

the ps3 includes a bluray drive one of those cost 1000 dollares and it has the cell which is brand new top of the line, RSX one of the best graphics cards, bluetooth, wifi, 60 gb harddrive, backwards compatable, it runs at 2 teraflops floting point, thats in the supercomputer leaguge.

yah its a great price for what u get. remember the controllers infa red and you can move the controller and what ever is on the screen will move.
so I think theyre just wanting a bit more money for that technology

Sony is saying it is a full PC. but still I think it is too costly. I would rather configure my high powered system with room to upgrade, then buying this costly thing.
