More kids equals more government money. Meanwhile, the rest of us have to get up and go to work to support our families without any help at all.

Some people decide that having a family is more important than chasing the almighty dollar if both parents don't work than the household will have a lower income. Children are expensive as well so the cost money to raise which reduces disposable income. Being wealthy isn't everything if people are poor but happy with their lives and family and have lots of love than that is all that is important.
That said, some of it can be related to not necessarily lack of education but lack of opportunity, some young people don't feel like they have the potential or chance to make anything with their lives in a career sense so they settle for raising families at a young age.

Great question. If you look back on our own history we (western europeans) had large families as well. That is before we got good medical care, pensions, social security and retirement, etc. We have those things to fall back on. Poorer people around the world must rely on children to bring in more income and work for the family and for someone to look after them when they are too old to work. Added to that, in many parts of the developing world, the only relief agencies around are Catholic agencies. They are telling these people that contraception is a sin. Add to that the fact that these African countries have outrageous AIDS rates and the Catholic Church's teaching amounts to genocidal stupidity. Anyway, I digress!

I think that the main reason is because the more children you have, the more you get paid.....Which means that more money is taken out of our paychecks to take care of other peoples families...That's why the working class can't have so many children..Even though we work, we can't afford to have alot of children even if we wanted too.

it most definitly compounds the problem.i figure since their very poor, uneducated and live in terrible conditions, there is no work for them so basicly sex is about all they have.but knowing that you would think they would at least pull out,and save a human from starving to death.

Their death rate is higher so a poor farmer has lots of children who can help him in the field.

I believe that they are either uneducated about or unable to get birth control, have no choice but to become pregnant by men who abuse them, or get pregnant to get more money off the government. Who knows?

For one probably because they have nothing better to do then have sex, again, and again, and again, and again, etc, etc, etc, etc. The other reason is, is because they cant afford contraceptives-condoms and things of that nature.
