Relative is 66 years old with health issues, no assets, only SS for income, and 10K in credit card debt. If she files for bankrupcy can they touch her SS?

what bancruptcy are you applying chapter 7 or the 13. according to that person's age go with chapter 7. and the answer is no... they cannot cause that belongs to that person and only means of survival..
