I really need a website with picture steps on changing strings on a bass.. i play guitar..but the strings look a little different then guitar strings.

Change them just like you would any other guitar but it's a good idea to take them all off and clean the instrument before you put the new strings on. A person tends to sweat a little more playing bass and you need to get all that off of it. Then just string it back with new strings up the way it was strung to begin with.

I've only been playing bass for 9 years...so I'm still learning about all of this stuff. lol But I've been told by every bass player that I know that you should change the strings one string at a time because if you talk them all off at the same time you are taking a huge risk of your neck warping????

You change them just like guitar strings. The strings are skinnier on the ends that wrap around the binding posts.

it's the same as a guitar. the strings are just thicker. string it up the same way.

sell the guitar and buy a sax then you will have changed it for something good.
