Why do some women refuse to see how badly their bf or husband is treating them and continue in a relationship or marriage that's obvious will never work?

Most women are stubborn and yes refuse to give up. They seem to fall in love deeper that a man does.
If a husband is mistreating his wife, in the wife's thoughts, she can change that. A wife is willing to sacrifice much to make excuses for a relationship that is failing, because of her love, her emotions and her "bond" with that person.

Sometimes they are afraid to be on their own, sometimes the boyfriend/husband browbeats them so bad that they have no self assurance of their own. They get so used to hearing negative things about themselves that they begin to think that it is real. And sometimes, they think that it will get better. The list could go on and on. Did you ever see the movie Burning Bed with Farrah Fawcett, that was very enlightening. Get it if you can.

They want it to work so badly that they cannot acknowledge that it isn't. They may choosing not to see how their bf or husband is treating them, either consciously or subconsciously, because they don't want to admit anything is wrong.

Maybe because she has children to take care of and nowhere to go -no money to go - and the husband is such an a___ that he won't leave her and get out of her life....

becuase they are living a dream world that i why and because they have wool over their eyes. they dont want to see what is really happening until it is to late.
