E-mail. All the Ethernet is for, is an Internet connection. It serves no other purpose.
Other ways of trasfer would be, putting the data on CD, disk or flash drives. Or using the harddrive of the computer with the data you want and ghosting it onto the other harddrive.

You Don't, you have to use a Data Transfer Cable, Specifically designed for this need.
