This is a HOW answer:
Assuming you have yahoo mail, when you go to in box, you will have 4 buttons: delete, spam, mark and move. click on move and create folders: you give names to subject folder. after you created the folders, when you want to save a message, check it, click on move and chose the folder.
that's it!

Maybe your question isn't clear enough.

If you want to keep certain messages that are in your Inbox, presuming you don't delete them, the will just sit there and you will be effectively "keeping" them.

If you prefer a little more organization, you can create a separate folder, perhaps titled "Keep," and then move the messages there. Whatever e-mail program you're using, it will have some functionality to allow you to move messages from the Inbox to another folder. Check the Help information associated with your particular program.

You don't say, but I'm assuming you're using an online e-mail service and so the messages aren't stored on your own comptuer. If you want them stored there, you might install a PDF distiller, such as CutePDF, which would allow you to "print" the messages to PDF files you could store on your own machine.

And, again, if you're not getting the answer you want, perhaps ask a more specific question or give more detailed background about what you're desiring or where the problem lies.
