I just don't think that a dude that got a sex change is a woman, i don't care if there's a vagina and x-chromosomes running rampant, there is no ueterus and there was originally a penis.

I have a friend whom I'd known for years, as a woman. Recently this person underwent a gender change, and in order to do so, had to live life as a man for a year.

My teen-aged daughters met him before any hormone therapy or surgery, while he was in the transitional stage - not having been told anything about him at all. They came to me and whispered "Who is that gorgeous man over there singing? He is SO HOT!"

My friend is a man now, and quite honestly, I am relieved - I couldn't understand why I was mildly attracted to her years before, and now I know. He is transgendered - more man than many genetically masculine men I have met.

He is legally a male, all his personal documents have been changed to reflect his masculine gender. I'm more comfortable around him now than I was before the change, and he is a vibrant and blissful being now that he is no longer trapped in a body that didn't fit.

Think what you will, but you will never really know unless you live it. My friend deserves the same joy and respect as every other human.

Actually, it doesn't MATTER what you think.

Its what THEY THINK that matters. Period.

The ONLY real DIFFERENCE BETWEEN men and women is the Uterus and Womb.

The infant in the Womb can become EITHER MALE OR FEMALE. Yes, there is a GENETIC definition, but this can be overcome if the HORMONAL WASH is STRONG ENOUGH to alter the infant in the womb. For instance:

If an XX female is exposed to a HIGH TESTOSTERONE wash at the "proper time, in the womb (usually sometime in the 2nd month or so") then the lips of the vagina will seal and drop, the ovaries drop becoming testicles, and the Clitoris extends with the Glans of the Clitoris becoming the Glans of the Pen*s. No womb or uterus develops and the now "male" child starts developing male hormones naturally, even though its an XX chromosomal female. Its true genetic sexuality will never be known unless tested for through DNA.

Human sexuality IS FAR MORE VARIED THAN ANYONE BEFORE EXPECTED OR BELIEVED!

What's important here is that you recognise and respect someone else's life choice. To have a gender reassignment is a HUGE undertaking and one that even the medical community does not take lightly. If someone has gone through this process they are for all intent and purpose, both mentally in attitude and outlook, the gender that they choose to be. You should respect that choice since it was not made lightly, even if you don't agree with the reclassification of sexuality. And if you believe that a woman is only defined by her sexual organs then I think you need to take a step back and do some mental adjustments of your own.

Peace.

YES

The government would view them as a female, and as far as there not being a uterus many women have to have a hysterectomies every year ,In a total hysterectomy, the uterus and cervix are both removed so that point would also be null and void as well.

What is the point of worrying about other peoples identities, just worry about your own, you will live a happier, and most likely longer and more productive life.

Also next time use the spell check feature, it is a great little feature.

People don'e get sex changes for fun. I absolutely would respect them as the gender to which they have transitioned.
Response to Jojo- a person transitioning from male to female has their brain "wired" as a female - that's why they transition. There is no way to undo the "wiring" that is set in place before birth so the body must be changed to match the brain. Psychologists assure us of that as in years past MUCH research (and horrible experiments) were done to prove otherwise, and the result is always a person's gender identity is hard-wired in their brain.

i think that i would still look at them as the sex they were but it all really depends on whether that person feels like that sex. If so who cares what i think

What make up the human soul? ............................
These are the things that we feel define us as a man or woman not just the physical body... right?
If your soul didn't match your physical body, which would you change?
A transgender individual is/has changed their exterior to match their soul.
It is not expected that you will understand!!! Nor is it for you to judge or approve. Just accept
Every person on this planet deserves respect for who they believe they are!!
Give it to them.
