Since I was about five I would take a blanket and put it in between my legs and lay on my stomach. I would move up and down (thrusting) and I just thought it felt good. When I was older I realized this was masturbation, but I didn't know it at the time. I still perfer this way over regular masturbation, has anyone else done this or heard of this? Should I tell my boyfriend or still keep it as my deep dark secret?

normal. everyone has their own way of masturbating. first of all, many (not all) people avoid the topic of masturbation because they may feel uncomfortable discussing such a thing. i used to be like that. i would not be surprised if some of those people were embarrassed because of the way they masturbate. heck, ive been going out with my boyfriend for well over a year now and only in the past few months did I show him how i masturbate.
i don't think there is any exact definition of what the specific way of masturbating is...just that you are giving yourself sexual pleasure. so I wouldn't consider your masturbation irregular. last time I checked, there wasn't a rule book.
so if your boy really cares about you truly, he shouldn't think you are crazy. hey, im sure we all look a little funny when we masturbate:) guys definitely look funny when they masturbate/***!

Its not that weird. I wonder why you consider it a dark secret? Most people masturbate in some form or another. I personally wouldn't tell my boyfriend, just because I think that is a private issue. But if you guys are open with it really isn't anything to be ashamed of.

Why is it a deep dark secret? Everyone masturbates (whether they admit it or not). You may prefer not to tell your boyfriend about this method of masturbation if you feel it will turn him off or look at you like you are strange.

Yes, you are completely normal in every sense. This stems from when you were very young. I like to make a lot of noise, and say lots of dirty four letter words, I also like to hear lots of four letter words yelled at me. I find it a turn on, and I am completely normal in every sense of the word. It is not a dark secret and I will bet your boyfriend has his own secret as well but just too embarassed to say anything. My suggestion is to keep it to yourself if he is likely to throw it back in your face if things don't work out between you.

I did this too. I never knew what was wrong with it. I also loved to make my hand as a fist and lay on top of it. See that I have been doing it since I was 3 or 4, I think it is nature's way of saying mastrabation is normal.

all kids masturbate its totally normal dont worry about it and i dont know if i would tell your boyfriend or not unless you really trust him if you are in school and you break up is he gonna go tell all his friends and then you will have kids making fun of you, sometimes its best just to keep some stuff to yourself

All children masturbate....lol, yeah adults too. Seems to me there would be more clitoral stimulation with that method. If you like it keep it up, if it teaches him more about you share it with him. He might develope some different techniques to please you!
