On Virtual Villagers I cleaned the well, built a hut, had a baby, cleaned the beach, and found the book. Now the guy who found the book wandered off and I dont know where he is but anyway, What am I supposed to do?

That is a tricky Island Event. The island event about the book is NOT GOOD. If you let the person who found the book to go and read it all by himself, he will get so astonished he will run away and never come back. On the other hand, if you choose to bring it to the researchers, you will lose the book while walking towards the researching table.

you can do many things on one of my files the guy also wondered off and so what i did is i just gave up because it was hard but then i played again and got farther just make sure you have at least 150 to 200 food then have at least 3 of your adults research and then when you have plenty of tech points buy things i have a master scientist who made the school and i have cleaned then beach that is a good thing to do go to the beach and have your builder clean it it gives them better building skills also you can click on a square in the detail thing to have people stick to that one thing you can change it whenever you want...if you want to email me just e-mail me at alj12692@yahoo.com

The cactus is like something for healing, and then that rock pile north of the cactus needs to be cleared out.... thats as far as I got.
