I had a very faint positive line I could only see when I held it up to the light. It was still a positive, I was still pregnant.

if the line came up DURING the correct time it's a +even a faint line is a + if ou re test in a few days it will get darker. IF YOU LET the test sit 4 a while then it had a faint line it's not a true + after a hour a slight line may form where the + would have been. TEST should be read in time on the box. IF YOU ARE totally unsure do another test 1st morning pee.

I never used that brand, but false positives are tough to get since a line appears when the test detects HCG, the 'pregnancy hormone'. If you are seeing this faint line only after 1/2 hour or more, than it could be an evaporation line. If it appears within the 5 minute time frame, you are probably pregnant. I would either make an appointment with the OB/gyn or wait a few days and test with an EPT. Good luck!

"False positives" almost never happen...are you reading the directions and following them to the tee??
You're not supposed to "move the stick around"
Usually, you're supposed to pee on it and put it on a flat surface for a minute or three minutes or whatever...and then read your results..IGNORE the results if the test is more than an hour old.

READ THE DIRECTIONS...

Usually "False Positives" are either due to the following:

1. User Error
2. Theres nothing "false" about the reading...it's just faint because it's early on.

Odd. I've always been told that there is NEVER a false positive. There can be a false negative.....You should do another test- make sure that the expiration date hasn't passed before you buy a new one and a different brand. When all else fails make an appointment w/your doctor.

I don't think there are false + but wait a few days and take another to make sure. You didn't mention how long the test sat if it did.

Mine were always truthful. The doctor/hospital tests were always wrong. To the point they told me to go away as they believed I wasn't pregnant. However, when I returned I returned with a bump they couldn't ignore or deny. Then they told me I was having twins hahahahaha they were wrong again.

i think even if the line is very faint, the fact that there is a line there means it is possitive
