are there any car rental places that accept cash not only credit cards?

They all accept cash..but credit card is required to rent...(for safety or something..and in case you dont return the car)

They will take ur cash payment when u return the car, but for insurance purposes and to guarantee that u will be liable for any damages on car they need to put a hold on ur credit card.
