I think the Angel of Death is just something good brought to a bad thing. Angel=good, Death=bad, etc.

A Demon of Birth would be something bad brought to a good thing.

Somehow I don't think it works that way.

It sounds plausible. Some people feel like they should not have been born or that their life is not worth the hassle. A demon would be responsible for such a bad thing. When this same person dies, thus releasing him/her from their torment it would a good thing, something an angel would have done.

I've never heard of a demon of birth, but why not. That myth would make as much sense as those of christianity. But I'm sure most christians will sharply refute you using their myths as factual evidence to deny your claim or question.
