Terrorism is evil but effective for those who administer it.In spite of being a member of the EU the UK is always in the thick of worldwide wars andTerrorism.Just where do the other members of the EU figure in this.I beleive the UK should take the stand of its EU partners and keep pulling the Pints and serving the all day breakfasts as they do in Spain.

People may have some questions about how certain things have been done, but - all in all - I don't really think those two are the major problem in the world in general.

During WWII a whole lot of not doing anything went on, and then it was too late. When someone is out to kill others just because they feel like it doing nothing isn't usually the thing that makes the aggressors go away.

Here's how aggressors work: If they're stronger than you they win and kill you. If you fight them they get mad and fight back harder until either you or they are dead. If you don't use the strength you have its the same as letting them be stronger - and they kill you. If you give them everything they want they'll think up other stuff they want, and if you give them that, they just may kill you because they've always wanted to kill you anyway.

I give the UK credit for making the effort.

Clinton and John Smith would not have got us into this terrible state.
What would happen if they swapped jobs? The UK wouldn't last 2 minutes with somebody as daft, stubborn and ego driven in charge. With less toys to break Bush would be "removed". Blair with all the toys he could want would probably revive US economy then destroyus all with a new particle accelerator experiment sucking the galaxy into a man made black hole.

I think it's sad that the US has sunk to the same level as Stalin's Soviet Union.People kidnapped off the streets, secret prisons, imprisonment without trial, torture, rape, & murder.A once-proud nation like Britain doesn't count on the world stage anymore, because Blair has put it Bush's pocket.Britain should have aligned itself with Europe where it belongs, not with a country 3000 miles across the Atlantic.

Depends... perhaps it would be fair to say that neither Bush nor Blair are the ideal leaders. Nevertheless, it is possible to imagine worse. A lot of people would like to see them gone, but the question is who would take their place next? Also, a lot of people, it must be said, would like to see them stay... it's possible to imagine better, but when (oh when) will they arrive? And, then, how long until we get sick of them?

Mind you, it would be nice if the UK was a bit more continental in culture, even if we don't go for the Euro...

No. The first thing to understand is that islamic terrorism is a direct result of a literal interpretation of the Quran. It does not matter which leader Western nations put into place. The Quran doesn't change so the methods of spreading Islam wont change.

- tough for some to hear, I know.

We need Bush and Blair cause they are getting rid of the Arabs for us.
Where is Bin? hiding like a coward, we know where our leaders are, so where is this *****.
Take away his guns and bombs he is nothing.
The US and UK seem the only ones to stand up to this evil and give a crap.

NO!
Cowardice is not a virtue. Unfortunately most of the EU lacks testoserone. That's we American's can win that Pansy bike race every year!!! In 1938 there was a guy who held your view, his name was Neville Chamberlin. Sorry, I don't want any more Neville's.

This is a good question. Why are the other EU countries not being attacked by terrorists.

Bush and Bliar don't run their respective countries, big business, corporations and various 'advisors' do. They're just the human face put to the machine. And no one is inexpendable.

Just happens they're both wallies.
