they actually add more horsepower to a vehicle (usually 10-20)....go to a legitimate performance car site and do a search....dont go to ebay...they sell a bunch of imitation chips....for a good one, you'll spend between $150-$500. It all depends on the vehicle...good luck

I read an article on these used on both a mustand and a camaro. The dyno showed that for a couple hundred dollars both only gained a couple horsepower (2-3) One of the brands was called Blue Racer. Looks like a total waste of money to me. I took the comp out of my car and rewired everything myself. It runs a low 12 so I must have done it right.

the price ranges from 200+ depending on your vehicle..

they enable you to programm your shift points, better your air to fuel ratio (better gas miles)..and i believe you can remove your govenor...

and BTW there not made for every vehicle..
