I'll start by saying if these coins are for collecting Do Not Clean Them.
If not then use acetone the hardware stuff not the nail polish remover. Just dip the coin in it and then rinse with pure water and pat dry.
Don't use coke, lime juice or any scrubing agent. It will leave scratches and the turn black.

For cleaning normal coins, use a solution of vinegar and soak overnight. For rare/valuable coins, don't clean them at all unless you consult an expert first.
