I'm 21 and will be 22 on august 16th and have had epilepsy since around 5 and all my life I've dreamed of finding a good paying job, owning a home, and if I'm lucky enough while in the process of complete those tasks meet a nice girl who will have me and go out with me and maybe even one day get married. And if at that point in my life I feel like I'm ready emotionally and financially to take on that responsibility possibly even kids. Is it too late for a 22 year old high school graduate person with epilepsy with no job little money and no college experience to LEGALLY do those things? And if not how?

I mean I've heard of the saying it's never too late and that nothing's impossible. But how could I ever afford to go to or ever get accepted into any college? and I always thought it was going to be too hard for me. Because I was in special ed and I never took as much advantage as I should have while I was in high school. A thing that I've regretted to this day.

Each state has a department of rehabilitation that can pay for college educations and/or other training. Check the social service section of the phone book or call the
State Health Dept. Easter Seal may also be able to help. Other opportunies may be available through congressmen and state and federal grants. Grants usually do not require repay like loans.
Rehab usually has the best deal. They even help you get the job. The epilepsy should qualify you for services.

its never too late, but time is of the essence, if you want to accomplish those things. i'm sure that there is a nice girl out there that will love you and may marry you. and of course you can legally do those things! if i were you, i would get a job in something your skilled at, not just something that pays well. take some college courses that interest you. and, if you dont have one now, get a savings account, so that if you get married an have kids, you'll have money, in case times get rough. start going around town (i just read this in your profile) and start introducing yourself to people, and you may find that dream girl you're talking about! i wish you the best of luck.

The only thing stopping you from doing all those things is your will power and determination.
You have set your goals, now work to achieve them.
This is the country of second and third choices. Go to night school, get your degrees, it can be done, and is done often.
With a degree, you can get that better job, the good pay, to buy the house, etc.
So sign up soon, and get going, you are still very young, and have lots of years to go.
Lots of famous people, had your problem, Julius Caesar was one, and many more, they did well, so can you.

I'm sorry you have epilepsy. Ever see a little kid with cancer? You're a giant of a person who's holding yourself back. Get off your backside and do something.....anything, except whine. You are so fortunate and the world needs your talents, whatever they are.
It is never too late.
Cheers

It's never too late, but it won't happen unless you make it happen. Sign up for some college courses. The semester's about to start.

Of course it's not too late. In fact you are probably still too young. You ask how to do these things legaly, How would you do them illegaly? Just asking.
